I provide feedback, coaching, preparation, and best practices so you can best sell yourself and stay motivated during what can be a very daunting and discouraging activity. 

Personal Brand. I assist you in understanding the importance of your personal brand and how this impacts your job search success, including researching your digital footprint, creating an effective LinkIn profile, and managing your social media posts.

Resume. I don’t write your resume for you – you own the process and the product. I guide you in creating a resume that best sells you, by giving you:

• A format (if you need one).
• Detailed feedback on your content and format.
• Suggestions of how to modify your resume for different jobs.

I will also help you uncover the best of you by asking questions about your paid and/or volunteer work, so you can most effectively present yourself when applying for jobs.

Cover Letters and Post Interview Communications.  I provide templates, recommendations, and detailed reviews and feedback that can be customized by job. 

Interviews. I help you prepare by giving you: 

• Feedback to your responses for the top interview questions.
• Interview techniques – so you aren’t too nervous and are a top choice for the job , like preparation and company research, what to wear, what questions to ask, and how to behave in the interview.

Finding Job Opportunities. Finding a new job varies by location and type of work. There are so many ways to find jobs – and submitting to an Internet posting (where you often don’t get a response) can be extremely frustrating.

We will discuss the type of work you want, your qualifications (today – and what you need to go do to perhaps get there in the future), doing your homework, networking, and where and how to find openings (or even create) the job you want.
