Over the past year, I’ve been fortunate enough to take a break from my career to explore what life can be. I had always wanted to be present and … hit the road without a plan, travel to Africa, figure out how to take a good picture, volunteer my time, not set my alarm, have time for friends and family, and to just have the time to find that person I was before I got all caught up in … just an expected life?
I started out by taking a 5-week, U.S. road trip. I had no real experience camping and no set plans, just some places I thought I would like to see before returning back to Colorado for commitments (and if I didn’t have them, I may still be out there driving.) It was absolutely amazing – and I didn’t think it could get any better.

I had so many ideas of how I could help and couldn’t wait to get started. So, I brought some crafts home the CAI grandmas made with the intention of raising money to send back cash and medication they can’t get in Uganda.

I’ve learned so much about the world and myself by the dozens of amazing people I’ve had the pleasure to meet over the past 9-months. I now needed:
- a way to spread the word about the crafts by the grandmas
- to keep downsizing by selling stuff I’ve accumulated and don’t need
- to find a way to make money to pay my bills
So, I thought I would create a website to support my projects, and here you have it.

Holly – Hi there. I was poking around on linkedin today and you popped, then I found this site. It looks great. Hope life is good in your part of the world. All’s good here. Be well. Marty
